What's next?

1. Activate your Client Account

Mothers Clinic uses Practice Better clinic software. Practice Better allows your practitioner to make their professional recommendations available to you from one secure place any time and anywhere.

Here you can easily manage your appointments, view treatment plans, invoices, payment plans and receipts, and chat with clinic admin for support.

Instructions to activate your client account have been emailed to you.

For the best experience, we recommend downloading the Practice Better app to your mobile device HERE.

2. Book your First Appointment (package services only)

If you have enrolled in a Mothers Clinic Package, you will need to schedule your first Appointment.

How to book your Appointments

To book your appointments, log in to your client account > navigate to Packages > Book Session > select the service you wish to book.

Can't find an appointment time that suits?
We take your health seriously and are dedicated to offering appointments with limited to no wait time. If you can't find a suitable time, drop us an email at clinic@mothersmylk.co to request an urgent appointment, and we'll do our best to accomodate a time that work’s for you!

3. Complete New Client Forms

Before your first appointment, you'll need to complete a New Client Intake Form. Instructions will be sent by email, or you can access the forms via your Client Portal once you have activated your account.

4. Upload Referral Letter &/or Pathology Results

You may provide your practitioner any documents relevant to your appointment (including referral letters, Mental Health Care Plan or pathology test results) via one of the following methods:

  1. Confidential upload to our referrals web page HERE 
  2. Direct upload to the "Documents" in your Client Account.
  3. Email them to us at: clinic@mothersmylk.co

 

Please note: You do not require a referral to attend our clinic however if you have been provided with a referral/Mental Health Care Plan from your GP you will be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate for Psychology services. We offer services under Mental Health Care Plans for up to 10 rebatable sessions per calendar year. Your Psychologist will be happy to discuss this further with you during your initial session.

5. Claim Your Free Motherhood Membership Access

For additional support between appointments you may access our exclusive online learning portal via the Motherhood Membership. As a thank you for purchasing a Mothers Clinic service, you receive one month complimentary access.

Here you can enjoy our tailored Recipe Hub, Learning Hub, and Community Chat where you'll find our Mothers Clinic experts and support team for further support between appointments.

Important Information

How To Claim Medicare Rebates

If you have a current Mental Health Care Plan for Psychology services you will be issued an itemised receipt after your appointment for claiming your Medicare rebate. Full payment is required prior to claiming.

Please click HERE for instructions on how to process your Medicare claim online.

Payment Plans (package services only)

If you have opted for a payment plan, we will confirm details of your agreed payment plan via email. Please reach out to us at clinic@mothersmylk.co if you have any questions.

Cancellation & Pre-payment Policy

Our cancellation policy is strictly 24-hours notice. We ask that you give at least 24-hours notice for change or cancellation of your appointment. Mothers Clinic does not provide refunds for pre-paid appointments cancelled within the 24-hour period prior to the appointment time and date.

 

Prepayment in full is required prior to all scheduled appointments, unless an agreed payment plan is in place. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your appointment.

Appointment Reminders

Appointment reminders will be sent to you via text and email 2 days prior to your appointment. We ask that you kindly respond at your earliest convenience to confirm your booking.
