To begin, book your complimentary 20-minute discovery session with our trained and dedicated Client Support team to discuss your current challenges.
During your initial session, our team will discuss your reasons for seeking support, assess your needs, compatibility of working together, and address any questions you have about our clinic and practitioners. By the end of the session, you'll have a clear understanding of how we can support you with a tailored personalised care plan.
We have designed all of our packages to provide Australian women with holistic care at a time when they need it most. Our services include psychology, counselling, nutrition, naturopathy, midwifery, lactation consulting and infant sleep. You can select a package that allows you to see multiple practitioners, or a single practitioner - whatever works best for your unique situation. Our dedicated practitioners will then work with you to help you achieve results.
You will also have access to our online Learning Hub and Support team via our all inclusive Motherhood Membership, for additional support between your appointments.
We prioritise your privacy and confidentiality, using secure technology to protect your information. To maintain confidentiality, we recommend you be mindful of your surroundings and join your sessions from a private space.
All sessions are conducted confidentially by phone or video. Mothers Clinic uses advanced practice software to bring you a seamless consultation experience. We also provide additional holistic support for all bookings via text messaging, email and our clinic app.
Mothers Clinic is unique in offering comprehensive support through a combination of modalities tailored to your individual needs. Alongside your practitioner sessions, our holistic approach includes access to our online learning hub, providing valuable resources, educational content, and community support between appointments. This integrative approach equips you with the tools and guidance needed to navigate your motherhood journey and receive well-rounded support beyond your sessions.
Yes, we offer additional support in areas such as relationship and partner support, children's health, ADHD and trauma.
Yes! Studies have shown that virtual sessions are just as effective as in-person support, with satisfaction levels just as high. A recent study by the Consumer Health Forum of Australia reports 72% of consumers agreed the outcomes of virtual consultations were the same as it would have been face-to-face.
So, get comfortable in your lounge room and let’s tackle your motherhood challenges together!
We take your health seriously and are dedicated to offering appointments with limited wait times. If you can't find a suitable time, drop us a message to request an urgent appointment, and we'll do our best to accommodate a time that works for you!
No. To provide the highest quality of support, with the best practitioners, reaching all regional and city-based areas of Australia, Mothers Clinic services are exclusively online.
Studies have shown that virtual sessions are just as effective as in-person support and that satisfaction levels after a virtual experience are just as high.
Psychology appointments with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) will be eligible to access a Medicare rebate for up to 10 individual sessions each calendar year. Please contact your GP to arrange a referral and/or find out if a MHCP is warranted.
Depending on your level of private health cover, you may be entitled to a rebate for psychology services and nutrition services as a private patient. Please contact your health insurance provider to find out your eligibility.
Can I claim a Psychology session through both Medicare and private health?
No, you can only claim a session from either Medicare or a private health fund, not both. Private health funds won't cover the gap between the Medicare rebate and consultation fees. Your receipt will have a specific code for either Medicare or private health, depending on your needs. Coverage for psychology sessions varies by private health fund and level of extras cover. Contact your provider for eligibility and rebate details.
Our team of perinatal practitioners are based in Australia. We currently serve our community of patients across Australia and New Zealand.
Feeling nervous about your first session is completely normal. Your Mothers Clinic practitioner will ease your concerns by reviewing your intake forms and discussing your goals for seeking support.
Other questions that will establish a baseline of understanding include: birth experiences, feeding journey, children dynamic, relationships, support system, and any symptoms you might have.
Each of our qualified team members may approach the first session a bit differently based on their modality and individual personality, but our primary focus is to make sure you feel comfortable, understand your needs, and establish clear goals together.
Yes! We are always looking to expand our team of practitioners. For more information, visit our "Join Our Team" page.
